Gigi Jasmine has said she will never go back to her former heartthrob, Victory. She made this disclosure on Tuesday, 5 August, in a tete-a-tete with Kuture.
According to the naturally endowed female housemate, the reason she will never rekindle her relationship with Victory, the current Head of House, is that he embarrassed her on national television.
She also confessed to Kuture that Bright Morgan had told her never to return to Victory, even if he comes back to her. And that he is sure Victory will return to her.
It would be recalled that Gigi Jasmine suffered a heartbreak when Victory, whom she had thought she was in a relationship with and even confirmed it with excitement in her Diary Session with Biggie, picked Joanna as his deputy Head of House and even went further to save Kayikunmi instead of her.
Gigi Jasmine couldn’t hide how shocked she was by Victory’s decision, which betrayed her emotions. Victory’s shocking decisions also sent shock waves across the house.
However, fans have been sympathising with Gigi Jasmine and rooting for her, as they consider Victory’s volte-face heartless and inhuman.
Still, Victory had never hidden the fact that he had a soft spot for Joanna. Some of his actions proved he preferred to be in a relationship with her. He never showed any sign of love for Gigi Jasmine.
Gigi Jasmine had once caught Joanna sitting on Victory’s lap. And Victory preferred to dance with Joanna during Thursday’s pool party and the Saturday Night Party.
However, Victory had also revealed to Gigi Jasmine why he was taking his time to commit to her.
He explained to her on Sunday that though he liked her, he was trying to take his time to think through whether he wanted a romance with her because he was trying to avoid making his father’s mistake.
Victory said, “I do like you. You’re such a sweet soul. I’m just trying to know what I’m doing because you can think you know what you’re doing, but you don’t know what you’re doing…
“I’m trying not to make my father’s mistake, but I keep making the same mistakes over and over again.”
